North Shore Agricultural Efficient Water Saving and Emission Reduction Project
The project is located in Longjie Town, Chengjiang County, involving 4 irrigation areas, Wanhai, Huaguang, Shuangshu, and Zuosuo, with a cultivated area of 9,050 mu. The total investment of the project is 32.6985 million yuan. It adopts the “PPP” model of government and social capital cooperation. After the implementation of the project, it will save 2,946,600 cubic meters of water each year, reduce the amount of chemical fertilizers and pesticides used by 1,355.63 tons, and reduce the amount of pollutants entering the river by 109.6 tons, realizing good economic and social benefits.
